Found footage with experimental sound

Working with scenes from popular Bollywood films, the artist finds and extracts scenes from films that use nature as a proxy for love and desire.

The film, currently in progress plays with sound by removing the musical score and songs that often mediate and manage our relationship to the images on screen. The artist instead uses sound as a way to create space to reformulate our emotional and erotic responses to the bodies, motifs, gestures and landscapes.
